We are looking for a Finance Manager who enjoys working independently, takes ownership and thrives in a role where they can make a meaningful impact.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this is a standalone role where you will be responsible for all aspects of financial management and reporting, providing trusted insight to the Chief Executive and Board, and ensuring we remain on a strong financial footing.

You will take the lead on all financial management, including.

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and board reports
  • Annual budgets, forecasts and stress testing
  • Year end accounts and liaising with external auditors
  • Cash flow management and forecasting to ensure treasury compliance
  • Debt management, including loans and covenant compliance
  • Payroll and invoice payments
  • Regulatory and statutory compliance including VAT, RSH Economic Standards and FCA obligations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and systems
  • Presenting updates and insights at Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.

 

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with strong financial management experience and an excellent understanding of financial controls, budgeting and reporting.

You will be confident working independently, possess clear communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience in housing finance and knowledge of housing finance regulations and reporting standards would be a bonus, but is not essential.
