Head of Property
£55,000 – £60,000 per annum

This is a fabulous role for a values driven leader who can balance strategic asset management with hands-on leadership, ensuring residents are at the heart of our decision making.
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will work collaboratively as part of a small team balancing both technical and resident needs, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our communities.
What you’ll do
- Develop and lead our property asset management strategy, aligning with our values and long-term sustainability goals.
- Oversee planned maintenance, cyclical decorations, and major improvement works, ensuring high standards and value for money.
- Ensure we meet all compliance and safety regulations, providing assurance to our Board and taking a proactive approach to risk management.
- Lead and support a small but effective team, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation.
- Manage a property budget of c.£500k per annum, ensuring financial efficiency and robust investment planning.
What we’re looking for:
- A proven leader with experience in property asset management, maintenance, or compliance, ideally within a housing association.
- Strong understanding of housing law, property standards, and risk-based compliance.
- Ability to engage and collaborate with residents, teams, and stakeholders, ensuring their voices shape our work.
- Experience managing budgets and planned investment programmes, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency.
- Professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent) or relevant technical experience gained in the social housing sector.
