Practice Interviews
Practice Interviews can help you to:
- Convey your unique offer concisely and clearly.
- Prepare you for your interview and teach you how to weave your research into your responses.
- Provide you with a clear analysis of your strengths and weaknesses and how to maximise and minimise these, respectively.
We do this by:
- Clearly understanding the role you are applying for and where you see potential hurdles.
- Constructing a range of tailored questions to practice with a very experienced and skilled interviewer followed by immediate constructive feedback. All conducted by Zoom, WhatsApp or Teams.
- Advice on how to deal with questions on tricky areas of your CV i.e. periods of unemployment, leaving with a settlement agreement or job hopping.
CV Tailoring
There are numerous online tools to help you design and write your CV but where many people fail in getting longlisted is that they don’t tailor their CV to the role they are applying for. Receiving a CV entitled ‘Standard CV’ is not very inspiring!
Take a fresh approach to your CV every time you apply for a job and think about how your CV and Supporting Statement can influence the hiring manager or consultant to contact you for interview. We can help you tailor your application concisely to the role you are applying for and ensure your supporting statement is hitting the key criteria. The tailoring of your CV will need to consider whether the role is
- an interim or permanent role
- an executive team role or other role
- a voluntary role such as Trustee on a Board
- a Non-Executive role (NED) on a Board
